Dear editor，

I am writing to tell you that I find that many people are addicted to their smartphones and no one gives others responses at the family feasts or friends parties during the spring festival. 【在春节期间的家宴或朋友聚会中，你发现很多人沉迷于手机，不与他人沟通】。

To be honest（实话说），we held a friend party（hold a party举行聚会） during the last spring festival when（那时） everyone used his own（自己的） smartphone to do anything they needed，so I felt the largest distance（感觉拉大距离），though we sat just face to face.【你遇到的情况】

Smartphones indeed（确实）change the ways of communication（沟通n.） and improve（提高v.） our efficiency（效率n.），but at the same time（同时），they also distance us from others（distance sb from sb把某人与某人拉开了距离）. Even when（即使） we are sitting together，everyone looks down低头看 and focuses on（专注：on介词不能跟动词要跟动词就用动名词） playing their phones，ignoring（ignore忽视v.） others. How embarrassing（多么尴尬呀）！【你的想法】
