1、Are you a humorous person?

你是一个幽默的人吗?

 

I'm a humorous person and I prefer a relaxed life. Being humorous will make life easier and more meaningful. My friends always find I'm easy to get along with and that's partly due to my humor. I think my parents influenced me a lot because both of them are very humorous people. Being humorous makes life more harmonious.

我是一个幽默的人,喜欢轻松舒适的生活。幽默会让你的生活更轻松,更有意义。我的朋友总是觉得我很容易相处,大抵是因为我很幽默。我认为我的父母对我的影响很大,就是因为他们都非常幽默。幽默可以使生活更和谐。

 

2、What are the people's attitudes towards humor?

人们对幽默是什么态度?

 

People usually regard humor as a seasoning of life. Without humor, life will be less tasty.Humor also demonstrates a person's intelligence and personality. We always expect our friends to be humorous thus we may find it's easier to get along with them. In addition,sometimes humor is also the best way to eliminate anger.

人们通常把幽默看做是生活的调味品。没有幽默,生活会变得索然无味。幽默同时还可以体现一个人的智力和个性。我们总是希望我们的朋友能够幽默一些,这样我们会觉得更容易与他们相处。此外,幽默有时还是平息愤怒的最佳方式。

 

3、What are the differences between the young and the old in attitudes towards humor?

年轻人和老年人对幽默的态度有什么不同?

 

The old might enjoy a more sophisticated and meaning humor. Like my father, he doesn't enjoy some humorous program at which I will laugh for a while. The older enjoy more witty humor with certain profound meaning. The young might enjoy entertaining humor and like to share with their friends to make them laugh. Being funny is enough for the young.

老人们会喜欢意义较为深刻的幽默。比如说我的爸爸,他不大喜欢那些令我开怀一笑的幽默搞笑节目。老人更喜欢一些含义深刻的机智幽默。年轻人可能喜欢娱乐性的幽默,喜欢与他们的朋友分享快乐。幽默对于年轻人来说,其本身就足够了。

 

4、What kind of people are humorous?

什么样的人是幽默的?

 

We always find humorous people full of wits. They are quite intelligent to say something out of people's expectation to create a humorous effect. On top of that, a humorous person has to be insightful and responsive that he or she may speak out humorous words when the situation needs. Sometimes the funny-looking people who speak puns are also humorous.

我觉得幽默的人充满智慧。他们非常机智地表达出人们的期望,以创造一个幽默效应。更为重要的是,幽默的人需要具有洞察力和应变能力,当情况需要时,他/她可能说出幽默的话。

有时长相滑稽,经常一语双关的人,也比较幽默。

 

5、Do you like Western humors?

你喜欢西方幽默吗?

 

I do like Western humors. Sometimes there're different settings for the Western humor, but most of the time I can understand Western humors well. I enjoy Western situational humors which are mostly demonstrated in some TV soap serials. Whatever Eastern or Western, I enjoy all types of humors. With humors, my life is more interesting.

我喜欢西方幽默。尽管有时西方幽默有不同文化背景,但是总的来说,我还是能够理解西方幽默的。我喜欢西方文化背景下的幽默,这种幽默绝大多数在一些电视连续剧中得到了展现。

我喜欢所有类型的幽默,无论是东方的,还是西方的。幽默为我的生活增添了许多乐趣。
