1、What kinds of water sports are there in your country?

在你的国家有哪些水上项目?

 

Besides swimming, diving is getting popular in China. In some coastal traveling places in southern China, there appear diving training classes. You spend several hundred Yuan and can get formal diving training. If you pass the exams, you can get the certificate. There are other water sports, like hydroplanes, surf riding and so on.

除了游泳,潜水现在在中国越来越受欢迎。在中国南方的部分海岸旅游地点出现了潜水训练班。花上几百元你就可以参加正规的潜水训练。通过考试后你会得到一张证书。还有其他的水上运动,像水上划艇、冲浪等。

 

2、What are the advantages and disadvantages of tourism?

发展旅游业的利弊有哪些?

 

Tourism is now a big business in China, creating employment and money. It is considered as smokeless industry for it causes no air pollution. Tourism helps develop the local commerce because tourists are most likely to buy souvenirs wherever they go.It is necessary to develop the tourism, for it contributes a lot to increasing understanding between nations. On the other hand, it also gives rise to a number of problems. For instance, it becomes a burden to our inefficient transportation system.Too many tourists and bad management also create problems for the environment. And the over exploitation destroys the natural beauty.

现在在中国,旅游业是一项大的产业,它创造了很多就业机会和资金。它被称为“无烟产业”,因为没有空气污染。旅游业促进了当地商业的发展,因为游客无论走到哪里都喜欢买一些纪念品。发展旅游业对于促进不同国家人们的相互了解非常必要。另一方面,它也带来了很多问题。过多的游客和对游客的管理不善造成了环境问题。过度地开发破坏了美丽的大自然。

 

3、What are some ways people like to travel in your country?

在你的国家人们喜欢采用哪些旅行方式?

 

Although a lot of people do independent traveling nowadays, like backpack traveling, I would say that package tour is the most popular way of traveling. I guess we like to be with

a group of people when we travel. Also, we are still a bit nervous to risk doing things by ourselves. Another popular way of traveling is by renting a car and driving to some place in

a group. It gives you a bit more freedom.

尽管现在许多人都独自旅游,比如自助旅游,但组团旅游仍然是最受欢迎的旅游方式。我想我们都喜欢和很多人一起旅游。而且自己冒险做某些事情的时候,我们会感到紧张。另一种很受欢迎的旅游方式是团队租车到某一地点旅游。那样会给你更大的自由。

 

4、What do you think of the environmental problems in China?

你对中国的环境问题怎么看?

 

The environment is getting more and more serious as a problem. Well, as far as l am concerned, I think the problems are solvable if we work together. I think also that people should be aware of the problems. Every people should have a sense of responsibility.

环境问题越来越严重。就我而言,如果我们一起努力,环境问题是可以解决的。人们需要认识到这个问题。每个人都应该有责任感。

 

5、How has tourism changed in China?

中国的旅游业有什么样的变化?

 

I think tourism has become very popular in China and is now a big business. More and more people are taking an interest in traveling. This means that many cities have changed a lot to accommodate more tourists. Take Xi'an as an example. Tourism has become one of the major industries there and so a lot of shops now carry souvenirs as well as other things.

我认为在中国,旅游已经变得非常流行,而且现在已经成为一个大产业。越来越多的人对旅游感兴趣。这就意味着许多城市为了能够容纳更多的游客都做了很大的改变。拿西安来说,旅游业已经变成那里的一个主要产业,有许多商店专门经营纪念品和其他一些东西。
