一、书信/卡片

Part Two

 

Describe a letter or card you received.

You should say:

who sent the letter or card to you

when it was sent

what the content was

and explain why it is special to you.

 

范文：

 

Letters were the important ways of communication in the past, which of course is having its biggest rival emails now. I used to like to write letters and receive letters from others because I believe they can express ideas more clearly and deeply. Later, my habit changed because of one letter which I received from a stranger. In the letter, the person asked me to write ten letters to my friends or relatives. If I followed his instruction, my dream would come true. Otherwise, something terrible would happen. I was very credulous at that time, and because photocopy machine was seldom seen, it took me three days to finish writing ten letters. I took some money from my savings and bought the envelopes and stamps and posted the letters. I waited and waited and at last, my dream of having a new book didn't come true and l got very disappointed and upset. I knew that I was cheated. And from then on, I never wrote letters again.

 

书信在过去曾经是交流的重要方式之一,然而现在电子邮件成为了它最强大的竞争对手。我曾经喜欢写信,也喜欢收信,因为我认为书信可以更清楚、更深刻地表达感情或想法。后来,我的习惯因为收到了一个陌生人的一封来信而发生了改变。信里,发件人让我给我的朋友或亲人发10封信,如果我照做,我的梦想将成真,否则一些不好的事情将发生。我那时还非常天真,加之复印机在那时还非常少见,我花了3天时间才写完了10封信。我用我的积蓄买了邮票和信封,将信寄了出去。后来我等了又等,我想要一本新书的愿望始终没有实现,于是我非常失望和泪丧。我知道我被欺骗了。从那以后,我再也不写信了。
