二、照相

 

1、Do you like taking photos? Why or why not?

你喜欢照相吗?为什么喜欢或不喜欢?

 

Yes, I like taking photos especially when I go traveling. The photos are a kind of memory,you know, when you are back home. And through photos you can also share your travel experience with your family or friends. I also consider taking photos as a form of creative art. The same mountain may appear from different angles by different persons.

是的,我喜欢照相,特别是出去旅游的时候。你知道吗,在你回家以后,照片就是一种记忆。而且通过照片,你可以与家人和朋友分享你的旅游经历。我也把照相看做是一种创造性的艺术。同样一座山可以被不同的人拍摄出不同的角度。

 

2、When do you take photos?

你什么时候照相?

 

I take photos at family reunions and get-togethers with former classmates or friends. l also take my camera with me when I take traveling or go spring outings. Recently I bought a camera phone, and with it I can take photos whenever I want and wherever l am.

我在家庭团聚以及与老同学或朋友聚会的时候拍照。当我去旅行或春游的时候,我也会带着照相机。最近我买了一部照相手机,有了它我就可以随时随地拍照了。

 

3、Which kind of pictures do you like?

你喜欢拍什么类型的相片?

 

I would definitely go for fine art ones. I am crazy about those awesome fine art pictures.And there are millions of fine arts studios everywhere in the town. And millions of girls are dying to look like a cover girl in pictures.

我非常喜欢拍艺术照,我对那些美丽的艺术照近乎疯狂,在这座城市里有成千上万的照相馆,到处都可以看到。成千上万的女孩都想让自己看起来像封面上的人物。

 

4、Do Chinese people like taking pictures?

中国人喜欢拍照吗?

 

Well, since taking pictures is one of the best ways to keep good memories, I think most Chinese love it. But it really depends. It depends on sex. Say, women are more likely to be crazy about being taken pictures. However, being taken pictures might be the very last thing for men to do! They love taking pictures for others, though.

嗯,因为照相是保留美好回忆最好的方式之一,所以我认为绝大多数的中国人都喜欢照相。但这也与性别有关。比如,女性对照相更加疯狂。然而,对于男性来说,照相或许是他们最不喜欢的事情!但他们喜欢为别人照相。

 

5、What is the importance of taking pictures?

拍照的重要性是什么?

 

Taking pictures is a good way of keeping memories. Those sweet memories will immediately jump into people's mind every time when people enjoy their photos. I bet this is one of reasons why lots of people got digital cameras, even wider recorders. And sometimes, people could even get a huge sense of satisfaction and achievement when they show their millions of nice photos to their friends.

拍照是保持回忆的一种很好的方式。当人们欣赏他们的相片时,那些美好的回忆会立刻浮现在他们的头脑当中。我认为这是人们喜欢数码相机,甚至更大容量记录装备的原因之一。有时,当人们将成千上万的美丽图片展示给他们的朋友的时候,也能从中获得很大的满足和成就感。

6、What kind of photos do you put on the wall in your room?

你的房间墙上放哪种照片?

 

My family took a photo last year in a photographers' studio. It is very precious because it was always difficult for all the family members to get together and take photos. So we decided to capture everyone's smile in one photo each year as a memento. And now I put that photo on the wall. I don't put artworks by famous photographers on the wall in my room because I feel family photos can show how happy we are.

我们家去年在一家照相馆里拍了一张相片。它非常宝贵,因为所有的家庭成员聚到一起并且照相总是机会难得。因此我们决定每年拍一张照片来记录每一个人的笑容以作留念。现在我把那张相片放在墙上。我不在我的房间墙上放著名摄影师的作品,因为我觉得全家福可以展示我们有多开心。

 

7、How to classify photos?

如何将照片分类?

 

In my opinion, photos can be roughly classified into three categories. The first kind is artworks by famous photographers. The second is artistic photos taken in photographers' studio, and in this kind of photos common people may look like super star. The last kind of photos is what we take for pleasure or for recollection.

在我看来,照片可以大体上分为三类:第一种是著名摄影师的作品;第二种是照相馆拍的艺术照,而且在这种照片里普通人也可以看起来像超级巨星一样;最后一种是我们为兴趣或回忆而拍的照片。
